An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

It was a bit of a process after going through all of this for buying a used car in Las Vegas. I think I can break it down into 5 simple steps for what I learned about buying a used car based on my personal experience here in Las Vegas.

1. Shop prices online before you go into any dealership in Las Vegas or Henderson, NV. Sometimes the prices online are different than the prices shown at at the dealership!

2. Shop multiple used car dealerships in Las Vegas. Make the commitment to shop at more than one dealer because any used car lot you visit is going to want you to buy a used car that day. Keep your options open when looking to purchase a vehicle.

3. Have a mechanic at an auto body repair shop do an inspection of the car before you buy it. Get an objective opinion from a trusted mechanic in Las Vegas or in Henderson, NV. Getting a fresh perspective from a mechanic can be very beneficial in helping you make your car buying decision.

4. Don't buy a car on the first day. The dealerships want you to buy on the first day because the dealer knows that the advantage is in their favor to get you to buy the car at a higher price.

5. Don' talk with the dealership managers. My experience with the manager at each dealership was not a pleasant one at all because they really just make you feel like a number with their passive-aggressive "sales techniques."

That's probably the best way I can summarize what I learned about buying a used car in Las Vegas. Please add in any of your own thoughts and opinions about a buying a used car in the comment section below!
