Here is short checklist to use as a guide when you are planning a Vegas trip on Thanksgiving:

Vegas weather this time of year:
We have absolutely beautiful weather in Las Vegas in late November. It was actually around this time when I flew to Las Vegas for a week in order to find a job. The weather was so nice during the day. It will get cool at night, but it won't be cold like it is in December and January.

Vegas Travel Expenses: Hotel Rates, Room Accommodations, Flight Bookings
To travel to Las Vegas at Thanksgiving you can expect that your overall traveling costs to be MUCH CHEAPER than normal. Once the holidays come up on the calendar Las Vegas tourism really slows down. From Thanksgiving until a few days after Christmas is probably the slowest time of year for tourists traveling to Las Vegas on vacation. This is definitely a time when you can find some cheap Vegas deals online. Airline tickets and hotel accommodations will all be cheaper than normal when you visit Las Vegas during Thanksgiving.

Is Thanksgiving a good time to bring kids on a Vegas family vacation?
If you are looking for a family friendly time to vacation in Vegas then Thanksgiving could be a great time since it is a holiday where many people get together with their family. The strip will get in theme with the Thanksgiving holiday, and restaurants will serve turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, pumpkin pie, and other foods you will commonly see at Thanksgiving dinner. If you want to bring the family to Vegas for Thanksgiving then this will be an inexpensive time to do it. Just note that your entertainment options on the strip may be more limited because of the holiday.

Other Vegas travel tips to keep in mind:
Thanksgiving is NOT a big event on the calendar of Las Vegas tourism. Thanksgiving really begins the slow season for Las Vegas tourism. The holidays overall are not a very busy time of year for traveling to Las Vegas. Be sure to look around online when booking your vacation during Thanksgiving because this is a time when you can really score some nice cheap Vegas packages at this time of year.
