Here is short checklist to use as a guide when you are planning a Vegas trip for the Super Bowl:

Vegas weather this time of year:
The Super Bowl is in early February. The weather in Vegas during this time is usually very nice during the day time, although it may be a little cool. At night it will get colder, but it is usually not as bad as the old that you experience in the months of December and January. Definitely pack some warm clothes when you visit during the Super Bowl in Vegas.

Vegas Travel Expenses: Hotel Rates, Room Accommodations, Flight Bookings
To travel to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl you can expect that your overall traveling costs to be HIGHER than normal. The Super Bowl is one of the top 5 busiest times of you to be in Las Vegas. Over $100 million is bet at the Vegas sports books just for the Super Bowl. That amount of money being bet at the casinos brings a huge crowd into town for the Super Bowl weekend. You can be sure that plane tickets, hotel rooms, and Vegas vacation packages will be more expensive than usual.

Is the Super Bowl a good time to bring kids on a Vegas family vacation?
If you are looking for a family friendly time to vacation in Vegas then the Super Bowl could work for your family. If you have children that are a bit older then they could certainly enjoy all of the energy of the game and the overall environment in Vegas for the weekend. However, if you have you children, then this may not be a good choice. Simply because there are just so many people that come in to town for the Super Bowl that it can be difficult enough to navigate through the big crowds. Doing it with small children on such a big weekend will be even more difficult. Overall, I would not recommend bringing young children for a Vegas family vacation during the Super Bowl.

Other Vegas travel tips to keep in mind:
The Super Bowl is a HUGE event on the calendar of Las Vegas tourism. With the amount of money that is bet on the game every year, it brings a large crowd excited for the game. The strip and downtown will really packed. If you're Planning a Las Vegas Trip 2019, then I think the Super Bowl is one of the funnest times of year to be in town.
