Vegas weather this time of year:
You can expect the weather to be warm when you travel to Las Vegas at this time of year. It likely will not be 100+ degrees like it is in the middle summer, but the weather is definitely warm enough that you want to make you bring sunscreen and keep yourself hydrated. This is especially true if you plan on going to the pool parties at the day clubs on Las Vegas Blvd.

Vegas Travel Expenses: Hotel Rates, Room Accommodations, Flight Bookings
To travel to Las Vegas at his time of year you can expect that your overall traveling costs to be higher than normal. This is a big weekend in Las Vegas that really is a last big party before the end of the summer. Many college students are partying one last time before the fall semester begins, and some families are trying to squeeze in a family vacation before the kids return to school also.
Labor Day Weekend is an expensive time of year to visit Las Vegas just because it is a three day week. Any three day weekend like this brings more people to town and creates a lot of demand for flights, hotels, and room accommodations, which increases the overall prices.

Is Labor Day Weekend a good time to bring kids on a Vegas family vacation?
If you are looking for a family friendly time to vacation in Vegas then this may be a good time to visit. Many kids are out of school, which makes this a popular time for families to vacation in Vegas. However, if you have young children then just be aware that this is a huge weekend for the day clubs all up and down the strip that are full of the younger college crowd that is in town to party for the summer. If you are going to be bringing children to Vegas during Labor Day weekend, then you may want to look into a hotel that does not have a day club so you can be in a more family friendly environment away from the party scene.

Other Vegas travel tips to keep in mind:
Labor Day Weekend is a huge event on the calendar of Las Vegas tourism. It is one of the five busiest times of year in Las Vegas every single year. The fact that it is a three day weekend brings so many more tourists to town because they have an extra day off from work to enjoy their travel to Las Vegas.
