This question comes up quite a bit when people are basically looking for a guide about moving to Las Vegas. I can understand their confusion because Las Vegas is a unique place to live, to say the least. Some people really love it out here, and others absolutely cannot stand it out here and have no problem sharing it with everyone.

In my personal experience the pros of moving to Las Vegas definitely outweigh the cons. The biggest thing to remember is that when you decide to move to any new area that you are not familiar with is that you are making a conscious choice to change your life. This is commonly a good thing because that alone means you are out to seek something better for yourself. So when you are moving to Las Vegas it is important to understand that it is an opportunity for your own growth as a person. Moving to Las Vegas gives you a chance to start fresh in your life. You have an opportunity to meet plenty of new people and make new friends that you will have forever. You can establish yourself in the community and build the kind of life you want. Once you start living in Las Vegas you have a clean slate to begin with.

The biggest con to moving to Las Vegas is the chance that it does not work out for one reason or another. I feel a big reason that a lot of people speak poorly of living in Las Vegas is because they are complacent, do not want to step outside of their comfort zone, and refuse to take any risk. They are the people that usually just go to work, run their errands, come right home, go inside, and isolate themselves from everyone that they absolutely must interact with. Then they complain that they can’t meet people, that they feel lonely, and that Vegas will never feel like “home.”
