This is the latest ebook that I am releasing about Las Vegas. This one is about helping people with tips and advice that I have gathered from my experience of moving to Las Vegas, and having lived in Las Vegas for several years now. If you have been following me for some time then you know that I think there are a lot more pros than cons when it comes to living in Las Vegas. I have shared a lot of things about moving to Las Vegas and life in Vegas on my channel. This book is focused on making the mental adjustment to living in Las Vegas.

Believe it or not, but finding a place to live and finding a job in Las Vegas are actually the easy things to do in the relocation process. Once you live in Las Vegas, and you don’t know anybody or have any friends, then life can begin to feel lonely. If you’re single then you’re in a new place by yourself. If you’re married with kids, then you still feel some loneliness because you’re new in town, but you have the added pressure of supporting your family.

It’s AFTER relocating to Las Vegas that life begins to feel difficult because you just move to a brand new city in a state that you are not familiar with. In this book I share some mistakes that people (myself included) make when they are getting ready to move to Vegas. It is very possible to be blinded by the bright lights, and stories of how much money you hear flows through this town. I had some of this in my mind when I was preparing to move from California. I spend the first part of the ebook guide giving advice on how to set your expectations for after you make the move to Las Vegas. Having your expectations set appropriately is one of the very important things to know before you move to Las Vegas.

For those of you that are moving to Las Vegas without a job, and are searching for employment, I do offer several suggestions of places to work at. I think it is relatively easy to find an entry level job in Las Vegas so that you can start making some money to pay your bills (rent, water, electric, energy/utility, groceries, gas, food, etc) until you can find a better to increase your income and make more money.

However, after you find a job and a condo, apartment or house to stay in, the next thing to do is to make friends. This is where I made some mistakes in the first year that I started living in Las Vegas. It is a lot of fun to embark on your own, and make your own path that is separate from anyone in your family. After a while though, you will probably feel like you have a tough time connecting with people in Vegas because you don’t know anyone yet. This is where I give some tips and encouragement on how to meet new people and make friends in Las Vegas. There are a lot of great people that live in Southern Nevada, but you have to make an effort to meet them. The vast majority of people living in Clark County were not born and raised in the Las Vegas metropolitan area, so many people can relate to being the new person in town. I offer some suggestions on ways to be a part of your local community in Las Vegas and become a member of the neighborhood.

What I do need to let you know is what this book is not. This book is not a “how to” book with a step by step process for moving to Las Vegas. I do not cover the topic of schools in Las Vegas or what are the best neighborhoods or communities to live in. I do not discuss what areas of the Las Vegas Valley have the highest and lowest crimes rates, how to find a real estate agent, how to determine which school to send your children to, etc.

This book was written to be evergreen, so that the content is relevant in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and for many years beyond that. This book will help you if you are single, in a relationship, married, with or without children. It applies to young people and senior citizens alike. This will be the biggest help to people who are just thinking about moving to Vegas, are in the process of moving to Vegas, or have just recently started living in Las Vegas. It is a book on helping YOU adjust to your new life in Las Vegas. Whether you choose to live in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas or Henderson, Southern Nevada is a beautiful place to live. It will take some time for you to adjust to the unique culture here in Clark County, but it really can make it an incredible place to call home.
