An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

1. National economy has improved, unemployment below 4%

2. Local economy has improved, unemployment around 5%, people have more money to spend, can qualify for a mortgage, still get over 40 million tourists visiting for vacation every year

3. Population continues to grow in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson and all over Southern Nevada. Clark County is growing at a faster rate than the national average. More people moving here (particularly from California) increases demand for homes that are up for sale.

4. The low inventory of houses available combined with the amount of potential buyers in the Las Vegas real estate market is helping the median home price continue to rise in neighborhoods all cross the valley.

5. The Oakland Raiders moving to Las Vegas is something that some realtors, investors and other locals believe is going to help increase the home prices in the Las Vegas area. The stadium is going to be built on Russell Road near the strip and the city of Henderson just sold a portion of land to the franchise to use for practice facilities and office space for their operations. Some realtors like to give a Las Vegas real estate market update every so often online, and there are those that believe the Raiders will have a large impact on the local economy. Although I do believe that a professional football team in Las Vegas will have an economic impact, I don't think that it will have the size of impact that some people are expecting. I think the health of the national economy and the amount of disposable income that people have are much bigger factors in the marketplace than an NFL team.
