2017 was a strong year for real estate all of Southern Nevada, whether it was in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas or in Henderson. The median home price was a little over $260,000 for homes being resold and $354,000 for brand new houses for sale on the market. Right now it's looking like 2018 is going to continue to be another good year for local real estate buyers. Some people are worried about a real estate crash, especially since the Las Vegas area was hit so badly during the recession. However, we are still quite a distance from the $315,000 median home price during the peak of the boom in the Vegas area. It will be interesting to see what 218 holds for the future of the Las Vegas real estate market.
