Welcome to the very first episode of Ride To Eat!

The idea is simple...

For Episode One, we rode from Coffee Corner in Santee, California, to The Hat in Murrieta—about 63 miles each way—to find out if their world-famous pastrami really lives up to the hype.

This was actually my first-ever visit to The Hat, so you'll get my honest first impressions, plenty of motorcycle riding footage, and of course... a whole lot of food.

The Hat first opened in 1951 in Alhambra, California (some records say Boyle Heights), and has become one of Southern California's legendary burger and pastrami restaurants. Today there are multiple locations, but we visited the Murrieta restaurant.
