Clark County is a very popular destination for retirees because of the great weather, outdoor activities, low cost of living and no state income tax. This attracts people who will be on a fixed income looking for a really affordable house option as well as those who want to live in more luxury. There are plenty of activities in and out of communities like private gyms, fitness studio, yoga classes, golf courses, hiking trips in the mountains, trips out to Lake Mead and visits to popular restaurants.

In retirement communities you can still have your children live with you, but they generally limit how long grandchildren can come to visit their grandparents in the community. Many of the neighborhoods have retirement communities that are guard gated and also have HOA fees.
