This question about moving to Las Vegas comes up from time to time from certain people. It is one that is just about impossible to answer because you will likely never know if moving to Las Vegas is a good idea or not until you actually try living out here for yourself.

There is a popular quote about successful people, “Successful people don’t make the right decisions. They make their decisions right.” Moving to Las Vegas could be a great idea. You could live a wonderful life out here. The only way that is going to happen though is if YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN. Any time that you move away you are taking on a risk, and starting a new chapter in your life. Risk is very necessary if you are going to grow as a person. I decided to make the move to Las Vegas back in 2012. I had some growing up to do, and made some mistakes out here, particularly in the first year or so I lived here. The good news is that mistakes give you an opportunity to learn and grow from them.

The only real advice I can give you on whether or not moving to Las Vegas is a good idea is that you have to decide whether or not you are going to make that jump. If you do decide to move to Las Vegas then be ready to work and make a commitment to making Las Vegas your home and becoming a part of the community in some way. You cannot avoid the risks involved in moving to a brand new area, so make the commitment to building a life out here, and you probably will look back one day to say to yourself that it was in fact a good idea.
