This something that I have gotten a few questions about in regards to living in Las Vegas. Some people have asked me about seeing snakes and scorpions in Las Vegas. It is a plausible concern, since Las Vegas is located in the desert in the Southwest part of the country.

I have been living in Las Vegas for several years now, and I actually have yet to see any snakes or scorpions around. I believe a large part of it depends on where you live in the area. I have talked to some locals who have had issues with scorpions trying to infest their homes, and they do have to call a pest control company in Las Vegas. Some areas are going to be worse than others in regards to scorpions and insects in general, but usually a good Las Vegas exterminator is able to handle any scorpion problems that you may come across.
