There is always an expectation of a wait when checking into a hotel. Standing in line for hours after traveling, with luggage, at 8 pm on your first night in Las Vegas is not a great look. This is the exact scenario where managers and supervisors should be greating guests, handing out water, welcoming them and doing what they can with available resources to expedite service. I have the luxury of being able to go home and try another day, but the majority of visitors will stand in that line for hours.
