This is NOT an opinion piece on unions or strikes or the validity of their requests. This is to update and inform the hundreds of people who have asked for further clarification as to whether or not they should be concerned about this upcoming vote. Negotiations and bargaining tools are used all the time when major contracts are up for renewal. I consulted with hundreds of sources on both sides of this issue and the overwhelming general consensus is that a deal will be made.
