Las Vegas 2021 Changes You Need to Know Pt. 2

This is a follow up to the video I did before called "Las Vegas 2021 Changes You Need to Know". 2020 was obviously a bizarre year for Nevada, the United States and the rest of the world. There has been plenty of problems to solve in the year 2020 since the virus shutdown in March. Going forward in 2021, at least in the early part of the year, there will likely be much of the same. Mask mandates with remain in effect along with seating capacity restrictions for restaurants, bars and other businesses.

There some things to look forward to in 2021 like Resorts World and Virgin Hotel opening up. Also, the developer on the M Resort is looking at vacant real estate across the street from the current property to build and attempt to attract more tourists to that area. Also, at this point I would say that another shutdown coming from Governor Steve Sisolak in Carson City seems less than likely. The state of Nevada has little money and shutting down would mean that the government collects little tax revenue. It would be extremely difficult to pay out any more unemployment without tax revenue coming in. The only way I can see Nevada shutting down again would be if there was a federal shutdown from Washington D.C. Even with that, I would think that the federal government would have to send money to the individual states to help with the economic burden.
