An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

David Chang, one of the most acclaimed American chefs of the 21st century, once had four restaurants in Las Vegas Strip casinos. Soon, he’ll have only one, at least for the time being.

On Oct. 4, Bang Bar by Momofuku in Block 16 Urban Food Hall at The Cosmopolitan is closing, MGM Resorts announced Thursday. When Bang Bar shutters, only the flagship Momofuku restaurant in The Cosmopolitan will remain at a Strip property.

However, plans call for another concept by Momofuku and China Palace Group to replace Bang Bar, opening in 2027, according to the announcement. Bang Bar debuted in April 2021, taking its name from “bang (ppang),” the Korean word for bread. The menu features griddled flatbreads that are rolled or wrapped about fillings, as well as rice bowls provisioned with vegetables and proteins.

When it launched, Bang Bar replaced Pok Pok Wing, a member of the Pok Pok family of restaurants founded by Portland, Oregon, chef Andy Ricker, famed for his way with northern Thai cuisine.

Chang also once had Majordōmo Meat & Fish in The Venetian and Moon Palace in Palazzo, both of which closed in June 2022. The chef also launched outposts of Fuku, his spicy fried chicken concept, as concessions at T-Mobile Arena in April 2023 and at Allegiant Stadium in August 2024.
