An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

Join us as we visit one of the most unusual and outrageous restaurants in Las Vegas — the Heart Attack Grill on Fremont Street!

This definitely isn't your typical burger restaurant. The Heart Attack Grill is famous for taking the idea of unhealthy comfort food completely over the top, turning the entire experience into a tongue-in-cheek hospital theme. Customers are called "patients," servers dress like nurses, orders are referred to as "prescriptions," and diners even put on hospital gowns before eating.

The Heart Attack Grill was founded by Jon Basso in 2005, originally opening in Arizona before eventually making its home in downtown Las Vegas. The restaurant became internationally famous for its enormous burgers and intentionally outrageous approach to dining.

Its menu includes massive burgers with names such as the Single, Double, Triple, and Quadruple Bypass Burgers. The Quadruple Bypass stacks four beef patties with cheese, bacon, onions, tomatoes, and other toppings into one enormous meal. The restaurant is also known for its Flatliner Fries, which are cooked in pure lard.

One of the restaurant's most famous traditions is its unusual weigh-in. Customers weighing 350 pounds or more can qualify to eat free under the restaurant's rules. There's even a large scale outside where visitors can find out if they make the cut.

And then there's probably the most famous part of the experience: customers who don't finish their meal can receive a playful spanking with a paddle from one of the "nurses." Only in Las Vegas!

The Heart Attack Grill has attracted plenty of attention and controversy over the years because it deliberately celebrates gigantic portions and unhealthy food. Whether you find the concept hilarious, shocking, or just plain strange, it's certainly a place you won't easily forget.

Our visit was less about finding a healthy meal and more about experiencing one of those wonderfully bizarre attractions that makes Las Vegas Las Vegas.

Come along with us as we check out the Heart Attack Grill, take in the crazy hospital atmosphere, and see what this infamous Fremont Street restaurant is all about!
