Will Las Vegas Shut Down Again? This Will Happen First...

What's going on in Las Vegas is common question being asked on a daily basis by people who are planning to travel to Southern Nevada on a vacation soon, particularly during the holidays before 2020 is over. Las Vegas updates change practically daily based on the number of virus cases and deaths across the state. Las Vegas and Reno are the two areas that get the most attention because that it where most of the state's population lives. Many people have asked me during live streams if Vegas will be shutting down again. No one ultimately knows the answer to that question. People are worried that the state of Nevada will go on full lockdown like it did earlier this year in March.

In this video I'll be covering why Nevada will not in the near future be completely closing across the state. There are several other options that I think Governor Sisolak and the elected politicians in Carson City would put in place before totally shutting back down again. Many small businesses as well as the large casinos are concerned about how much of a negative impact their businesses would suffer if there were to be another statewide lockdown where people are mandated to stay home. Many people feel it is too dangerous to travel right now because several other states and cities (New Mexico, California, Michigan, Chicago, etc.) have either added in new restrictions on their citizens' daily lives or shut down entirely.
