Extensive road closures were announced after thousands of people made travel plans, meaning that visitors or locals who do not have a room booked or a ticket to a watch party will have to watch online or on TV when the local news streams it. Las Vegas Metro Police department will be patrolling the closed areas, which include pedestrian bridges, to keep onlookers out.
