An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

If you've been following along, you know that I've been sharing the Lisa Vanderpump rebrand of The Cromwell into what is now The Vanderpump Hotel. Every time I go back they've made more changes and exciting updates and I'm 100% here for it!
On our last visit, we checked out Soleia Beach which is the rooftop pool deck at The Vanderpump Hotel (formerly Drai's Beachclub - if you know, you know) Let's just say this was a great move and an incredible transformation of this space!

The views of the Las Vegas strip from the Soleia Beach pool deck are EVERYTHING!!

The pool sits on the 11th floor of the hotel at the corner of Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, one of the most coveted pieces of real estate on the entire Strip. And from up here, you feel it. Directly across the street, Caesars Palace does its imperial thing. You’ll also see the neon marquee at Flamingo Las Vegas, the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas and the Horseshoe Las Vegas all laid out in a panorama that's among the best views available from a pool on the Strip. This is Center Strip, so you are right in the middle of all of the Las Vegas Strip magic for sure!

Soleia Beach is also open to non-hotel guests, so you don't need to be staying at the property to come up and spend the day. Pool hours are 10 AM to 5 PM. Long enough to fully decompress, short enough to still have a functioning evening.

The Vanderpump Hotel is a boutique property, only 188 rooms, and Soleia Beach reflects that in the best way. Everything about it says ease—the scale, the hours, the music, the menu and especially the view.

Reservations are not required, but they are strongly recommended due to limited capacity. Walk-ups may be accommodated based on availability, especially on weekdays.

Soleia Beach is a 21+ rooftop pool sitting 11 stories above the Las Vegas Strip: intimate, elevated, and open to both hotel guests and non-hotel guests
*although I'm a little confused on this because they did allow our teens to go up to the pool with wrist bands, so this age requirement might be changing.

This is not a dayclub. The music, the mood and the menu all lean toward something more relaxed and Euro-chic
Cabanas and daybeds can be reserved on the hotel's website, and bottle service is available
Soleia Beach is best for couples, small groups and anyone who wants to spend a few hours above the Strip without surrendering their sanity.
