@steveawynn’s relationship with Frank Sinatra began in the 1960’s when Steve first met “The Rat Pack” at The Sands in Las Vegas.

Sinatra became the defining face of Wynn’s Golden Nugget casinos in the 1980s through iconic television commercials, and Wynn later opened the acclaimed “Sinatra” restaurant at his Encore resort to honor his legacy.

Their relationship went far beyond standard business. Wynn had been a lifelong fan who actually watched Sinatra perform from the front row at the Sands Hotel’s Copa Room in the 1960s. Years later, the two men became close friends, traveling the world together for parties and performances. Wynn affectionately called Sinatra “Pali” (a nod to the Palm Springs lifestyle) and was even in attendance at Sinatra’s funeral in 1998.
