The Palms Casino recently reopened in the spring of 2022 after being shutdown for 2 years from the COVID pandemic. The casino is now under new ownership and the Scotch 80 prime restaurant has a new executive chef and a new revamped menu. The entire menu is completely different from what it was in the pre-pandemic era. The menu has quite the Asian flair to it and many items you will not find in your traditional steakhouse.

On the website it states that reservations are required and that there is a business casual dress code but this does not seem to be enforced. Alot of the people eating inside were dressed very casually. It also wasn't very busy when I ate there so I didn't even really need a reservation. But I would still make a reservation just in case though.

For my dinner this evening it came with complimentary Japanese Butter Bread and a complimentary King Crab Amuse Buche. For appetizers we ordered Rainbow Tiradito for $21.00 and the Lobster Bisque for $18.00. For the Main Course we ordered the 18oz Prime New York Strip Bone-in for $78. For the sides we ordered Potatoe Puree for $12.00, Creamed Corn for $14.00, Lobster Fried Rice for $22.00, Millionaire's Maccheroni for $19.00. And Finally for dessert we ordered the Fireball Smores for $19.00. Total: $220 with tax and not including tip.

Overall pretty decent meal but it is very expensive . The service was good and food came out quickly. We were one of the only customers in there at the time so our waiter was just kinda hovering around us most of the time. If we needed something we could just look over at him and he'd come right away.
