Synopsis:
Ginger Rogers and Jack Carson star in The Groom Wore Spurs (1951), a romantic comedy where a Hollywood cowboy’s heroic image hides a very different man.

Attorney A.J. Furnival is hired to help movie star Ben Castle escape trouble caused by his gambling debts. Ben may play a fearless singing cowboy on screen, but away from the cameras he can barely live up to the heroes he portrays. Then A.J. falls for him and a sudden Las Vegas marriage appears to solve his biggest problem—until she discovers that Ben had a plan of his own.

Starring Ginger Rogers, Jack Carson and Joan Davis, the film mixes Hollywood satire, romance and comedy with the amusing contrast between a screen cowboy legend and the decidedly less heroic man behind the image.
