An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

So here is the issue I had with the bill. I booked two “add on services” for $60. I paid for them online in advance. When I showed up for my service the therapist explained that the add ons would take away from my massage time. So I paid $60 extra dollars to get 20 minutes less massage. I wrongfully assumed “add on” meant it would ADD to the service. When I asked to cancel the extra services they said no refunds. ???? Then, the minute the massage was over before I was even dressed I was handed a receipt to sign. I had already pre-paid online, so the only purpose in this was to add a tip. I noticed a $49 service fee and when I asked if it was tip the person said it was a “service fee”. So I added tip. Again, fine. But no other luxury spa hands you a receipt while you’re still on the table. Just overall didn’t feel amazing for the $350 ish I spent. The massage itself was very very good though.

Qua Spa at Caesars Palace Las Vegas is one of many luxury day spas on the strip where you can purchase a pass for a relaxing visit, massage or facial treatment. This spa was beautiful and large but did not offer co-ed space and seemed lacking on customer service in general. Far from a bad experience, this was fine if its convenient and you’re a frequent spa guest. If you plan to have one luxury spa experience in Vegas, there are better options. #vegas #lasvegas #vegasstarfish #quaspa #caesarspalace #vegasspa #luxuryspa #spaexperience #vegasexperience #luxurytravel #vegaslocal #vegasstrip #thingstodoinvegas
