Today I go to Nelson, NV, which is famous for the Eldorado Canyon Mine. The tourist attraction does offer a tour for those who wish to see in the inside of the mine. You can just walk around the property for free to see some of the history of the small town. You can also drive just 5 miles down the road to see the Colorado River flowing through. If you're lucky (like I was!) you may also get to see some big horn sheep roaming around in the area! It's about a 45 minute drive outside of Las Vegas for those who wish to visit.
