An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

You guys... another amazing Las Vegas hidden gem that I'm so excited to share with you!
Colors of Mexico is a totally adventure and it's right on the Las Vegas Strip!

Right in the middle of the Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip is a 20,000-square-foot interactive attraction combining an immersive cultural museum, restaurant, bar, and artisan shop.

The Immersive Museum Experience includes seven themed rooms: Guests will walk through large-scale installations featuring bright projections, lights, and folklore.Highlights: Explore a glowing Firefly Forest, a kaleidoscope mirrored room, a pre-Hispanic projection area, and a Dia de los Muertos memorial section.

Admission: Entry costs $15 (plus taxes and fees), mine came out to around $19.50
The cool part?? Your $15 entry fee is FULLY redeemable as a credit toward food, drinks, or merchandise inside. This is MIND blowing! You literally get to spend your entry free on food, drink or gifts. As you'll see from my video, I selected a fantastic delicious traditional Cantarito Tierra y Limón drink which is on the menu for $16 - so I paid $1 before tip!
I highly recommend this drink ... it's served in a traditional clay cantarito and is a modern take on a classic with cucumber juice, lime, and tequila. I had her add a kick of spice which made it absolutely perfect. Refreshingly smooth and served with a Tajín rim, this drink respects tradition while embracing contemporary style.

I can't even tell you how incredible this experience is and best of all, it's great for the entire family! More than an immersive attraction, Colors of Mexico’s 20,000 sq ft invites you to explore, eat, drink, and discover all in one visit. Walk through breathtaking interactive spaces inspired by Mexican culture, enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine and handcrafted drinks, and handmade Mexican arts and crafts works that reflect the creativity and cultural richness of Mexico that you can take to home with you.
