An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

On the morning she was supposed to vanish for good, Lucky Armstrong wakes up in a Las Vegas hotel room and her husband is gone, along with more than ten million dollars. No note. No goodbye. Just the FBI storming the casino, her face on every news channel, and a crime boss who wants her money back by any means necessary.

Lucky was raised by a con man. Her father, John Armstrong, taught her three rules: read the room, trust no one, no shortcuts. Now he is locked up in federal prison, and every one of those rules is about to be tested. She steals trucks, borrows names, hides with strangers in the desert and talks her way past people who would do anything to catch her. But the closer she gets to the truth about her husband, the more she realizes she never really knew him at all.

Hunting her from one side is FBI Special Agent Billie Rand, who has spent years building a case and will bend every rule to close it. Hunting her from the other is Priscilla Masterson, a ruthless crime boss who also happens to be Lucky's mother-in-law. And somewhere in the shadows, the man whose money it really is has been watching all along.

Who stole the ten million? Who sold out who? How is someone always one step ahead of her? And can a woman who has lied her whole life finally trust anyone, even her own father? We walk through the whole first season of Apple TV+'s Lucky, episode by episode: every con, every disguise, every chase, every double cross, and the father-daughter story underneath it all. We take you right up to the final standoff where every lie comes due, and leave the ending for you to watch.

If you love crime thrillers, heist stories and con artists who are always three moves ahead, this is the season you need to see. Watch in crisp 4K (2160p) for the best viewing experience.

Footage appears as short transformed excerpts for commentary and criticism. All narration, editing and music are our own.
