This is a topic about living in Las Vegas that is going to be really pertinent to those with families. When someone with a family is looking at moving to Las Vegas, naturally one of their main concerns is about the schools in Las Vegas, and how to find good schools in town. Clark County is the nation's fifth largest school district in terms of student enrollment. Nevada has a reputation for poor public school performance.
If you are a family moving to Las Vegas it is important to know that you do have other options for the education of your children instead of simply sending them to the public schools. In Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson, NV there are a number of private schools, charter schools and challenger schools that parents choose to send their kids to instead of public schools. Also, here in Southern Nevada, there is a sizable number of families that choose to home school their children, and socialize their children with some of Las Vegas' many family friendly events and activities.
