For those of you that are going to be new students at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, this video is for you! This is particularly for those of you students that do not want to live on the UNLV campus. Instead of living in the dorms, student housing, or nearby apartments, you will instead will be choosing to commute to your classes at UNLV.

If you are going to be commuting to campus then you will be happy to know that there are several good neighborhoods that you can live in that are within a pretty short drive. If you want to be in Henderson, NV then Green Valley North and Green Valley South are popular neighborhoods to live in just southeast of the UNLV campus. The Green Valley area in Henderson is easily accessible to Highway 215, which will take you directly through McCarran International Airport right to the Thomas and Mack center.

If you want to live in Las Vegas, then Silverado Ranch is a popular area to live. Silverado Ranch is right next to Green Valley in Henderson, NV. Eastern Ave is the road that separates the two neighborhoods and is the border between Las Vegas and Henderson. Another area in Las Vegas that is nice to live in is Southern Highlands. It is a little farther south of Silverado Ranch. However, it is still a convenient drive up Highway 15 to connect to Highway 215 and go right to campus.

A lot of the southwest part of Las Vegas is also an ideal area for commuting UNLV students. Blue Diamond Road, Enterprise and Spring Valley all have pretty easy access to the freeway to quickly get you to your classes. Really, as long as you live close to Highway 215, then you will be able to have a pretty straight drive to UNLV's campus for you classes.
