Sunday night, just after 10:00 PM at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival a shooter opened fired on the crowd. The latest numbers I've heard are 50 dead and at least 200 injured. Jason Aldean was on stage performing when the gunman opened fire on the crowd. Sheriff Lombardo said in a press release to the public that the gunman was firing from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel. The suspect, 64 year old Stephen Paddock, was shot and killed by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. His accomplice, Mary Lou Danley, is his supposed roommate. I don't know if the police have her in custody or are still searching for her. This was a tragic event, and is the largest mass shooting massacre in U.S. history.
