Las Vegas Update (Governor Sisolak Lifts Restrictions, Airport Layoffs, Raiders Fined by NFL)

Listen to this Las Vegas update because there have been some recent changes in Southern Nevada as we are now in the month of October 2020. Some of the news today is good, some is bad and some is a little bizarre. In Clark county we continue to battle the virus and its impact on unemployment in our local economy. The tourist numbers from August have improved from July, but they are still very much down from August in 2019. Las Vegas will not be getting a couple hundred thousand tourists from China this year, like the area is used to. Governor Steve Sisolak has lifted a restriction on fans being able to attend local sporting events, and the Raiders have been hit with several fines by the NFL from their first game ever at Allegiant Stadium.
