Today we are discussing several restaurants on the Las Vegas strip that have instituted a 4% fee due to the pandemic that has wreaked havoc on the Southern Nevada economy over the last few months. Joe's Steakhouse and Mon Ami Gabi are two of the restaurants on Las Vegas Blvd. that have implemented this fee on your tab when you pay for your dinner. Unlike other fees (ex. CNF, venue fee, drink fee) that have been used in recent years in Las Vegas, this is one that the restaurants are very transparent about. The fee is also optional to pay. If you do want to pay the 4% fee on your dinner bill, then simply let the staff know and they will waive the fee. If only resort fees at the hotels and casinos worked the same way.
