FINAL UPDATE: George, the injured Mirage Volcano lagoon duck, gets his happy ending thanks to resort leadership, President Joe Lupo. George faced an uncertain ending as Mirage Las Vegas prepares for permanent closure. Unable to fly, he wasn’t expected to survive the destruction of his home as the remodel began. His dedicated caretaker & their local friends commited to sharing George’s story in hopes that a new home could be sourced.
