Formula One (F1) Las Vegas race preparation and construction has begun for the 2024 season. As of September 16th, pedestrian access has ended for the Bellagio Fountains and the trees are being removed in anticipation of grandstand construction. Traffic will be delayed as lanes are closed for heavy equipment. Over the next few weeks scaffolding, lighting and visibility barriers will disrupt all vantage points on Las Vegas Boulevard. This is the second of an anticipated ten year race contract, with each year expected to be less invasive and disruptive. All zones should be back to pre-race conditions by New Years Eve.
