Moving to Las Vegas? Go Here: https://www.jacobslifeinvegas.com/real-estate-help
One city in Oregon that is seeing a lot of people leave is Portland. Many people are leaving the Beaver State, which includes the major cities and metropolitan areas of Portland, Salem, Eugene, Hillsboro, and Gresham, along with smaller urban and rural areas like Damascus, Ontario, Monmouth, Silverton, etc. The state's 36 counties include Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas, Lane, Marion, Jackson, and Deschutes.
Many people are leaving Oregon in 2021, and it will likely continue into 2022. Whether they’re moving from a really high cost of living area (Portland, Salem, etc) or a less expensive area (White City, North Bend, Lincoln City, etc), there’s no shortage of Oregon residents looking at living in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Other states like Washington, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Colorado, Tennessee and Florida are also experiencing a large amount of people moving from Oregon. The biggest reasons why people leave Oregon are because of cost of living, jobs, high taxes, high gas prices, weather and many other factors.
Whether moving alone or married with kids looking for a family-friendly neighborhood, Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas have a lot to offer just about anyone. Many families with children move to Southern Nevada every year, as well as people who move because of a job opportunity or they just want to do something different with their lives and find better opportunities. Some of the more popular neighborhoods in Clark County include Aliante, Skye Canyon, Providence, Centennial, Northwest, Summerlin, Rhodes Ranch, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Southwest, Southern Highlands, Silverado Ranch, Green Valley, Inspirada, Cadence, Anthem, Seven Hills, MacDonald Highlands, Lake Las Vegas and Boulder City. Nevada has no state income tax and low property taxes if you’re looking to buy a house that you can call a home. The cost of living is also cheaper here than many other large metro areas in the U.S. School options include public, private, home school, Challenger and Montessouri schools. Being in Las Vegas, there’s obviously no shortage of amazing restaurants, shows, lounges, bars, museums and fun activities to do (on the strip, downtown and off the strip). Fortunately, driving around the Las Vegas area is pretty easy, and we don’t spend as much time in traffic as other larger, congested cities (When you first move here, you’ll likely have to register your car at the DMV in person, but after that you can usually do it online). There are also many apartments, condos, townhomes and luxury real estate options as well. Please be sure to follow the channel for more tips and advice on moving to Las Vegas. If you want to find a property that is for sale here in Southern Nevada, be sure to use the realtor link above!
