This isn’t your traditional neighborhood deli. Nonna’s is the sandwich and pizza concept connected to the acclaimed Formento’s restaurant, and they’re definitely doing things a little differently over here.

The viral Drunken Chicken? Exceptional. I completely understand the hype. One of the better specialty sandwiches I’ve had in a long time.

As for the Italian sub, the Pacino, it just didn’t hit the same level for me. It was solid, but it didn’t quite justify the price tag the way the Drunken Chicken did.

That said, I’d absolutely recommend checking this place out. The concept is cool, the quality is there, and the food is thoughtfully crafted. Just know before you go—this is definitely on the pricier side of the Italian Sub Run.
