The Las Vegas Strip, the shows, the celebrity restaurants, the postcard version of Las
Vegas. We bought all of it. Turns out, almost none of it was the real thing.

Dave and I have lived in Las Vegas for years as locals. We tested 15 spots off the Strip
and around Vegas that locals actually go to with their own money, on their own time.
Some are five minutes from the Strip. Some are a little further. A few of them completely
changed how we think about Las Vegas, and one of them serves a meal that makes
every celebrity restaurant on the Strip look like a joke.
