Most people think Las Vegas Boulevard is just the Strip, but the famous casinos make up only a small part of the road.

In this video, we drive Las Vegas Boulevard from beginning to end, starting at the California state line and following it through miles of empty desert, Primm, Jean, the Las Vegas Strip, Downtown Las Vegas, and finally to its unexpected ending north of the city.

Along the way, we explore the history of the road, including the Arrowhead Trail and old U.S. Route 91, visit the Bonnie and Clyde met their end in, find a giant concrete arrow from the early days of airmail, and follow a transportation corridor that dates back to the Old Spanish Trail.

Las Vegas Boulevard is a lot longer, older, and stranger than just the Strip.
