How much does a Las Vegas trip cost? The real number isn't the room rate you see when you book.
- Resort fee: $45-55/night, on top of the room rate, not instead of it
- Room tax: 13.38% combined Clark County rate in the Strip's resort corridor
- Average room: about $183.52/night in 2025 (Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority), about $258 after tax and the resort fee
- Parking isn't free anymore either: most Strip casinos charge $20-25/day to self-park, $40-50 for valet
- The real bargain: the Bellagio Fountains are still free, no ticket, no reservation
Save this before you book.
