In today's video we are talking about health care in Southern Nevada. It is an important for those of you currently living here in Las Vegas and those who plan on moving to Las Vegas. This is regarding the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, which also includes North Las Vegas and Henderson. Fortunately I have only had to go to a hospital a couple of times in the years that I have lived in Las Vegas. I went to Mountain View Hospital in the Northwest part of town once and to St. Rose-Dominican San Martin Hospital in the Southwest area on Warm Springs Road. I was happy with the level of health care that I received at each location. The wait time was reasonable and the medical staff was efficient. My health care insurance provider at the time did not pay for the entire hospital bill, so I did have to pay some out of pocket expense for the bill when I worked out a payment plan with the hospital. I know that this is an important topic for individuals, families, retirees and just about anyone else looking to move to Clark County, so I ask that you please comment with your own experience at hospitals in the area if you have any.
