A packed Friday. Hard Rock Las Vegas got its 2,000 seat theater approved, and there are well sourced rumors out of the UK that a holographic Elton John show is coming, with visuals reportedly being recorded this fall. The heart shaped hotel proposed for the old Skyvue site across from Mandalay Bay is now approved after FAA tweaks, with 752 rooms and a mini Fremont Street style canopy. Top Gun the attraction finally closed on a location, landing between the Little Church of the West and the Pinball Hall of Fame on the far South Strip.
