Western African food isn’t a typical find, even in large cities. Restaurants like Calabash with their authentic representation of Senegalese and Gambian cuisine are what make Las Vegas one of the greatest foodie destinations in the world. Similar in heartiness, textures and seasoning to a lot of Southern American staples, the food at Calabash feels like comfort food and tastes like something grandma would serve.
