An Old Fashioned, some red lipstick and a black dress…sigh, there’s just something undeniable about a good ol’ classic. The beloved Vegas showgirl may be an endangered species these days (insert tear), but “VEGAS! THE SHOW” preserved those feather-clad beauties and the likes of an era when everything was flashier and dripping with sophistication. What’s that you ask? Can a show filled with gorgeous and talented women a la Rat Pack era really exist in the here and now? Oh yes my friend, it sure can and all we have to say is raise that curtain and let the good times roll. With a little song, a lot of dance and that certain sultry allure that only old timey Vegas could pull off, this is a trip down memory lane and, well, it’s pretty legit. The costumes are fun, funky, sexy and so real. Ok, well maybe not the candy-themed costumes but hell, their Sammy Davis Jr. sure had us pining for an autograph. For a city that was built on pure, raw talent and obviously dolla dolla bills, this show celebrates iconic moments from the city's rich entertainment history through the decades that made the Vegas we know and love today. And we’ll tip our top hats to that.

What do you really get when you choose a no-frills Las Vegas hotel to save money?

In this video, we spend 24 hours at The LINQ Las Vegas to find out whether going budget-friendly is actually worth it, or whether saving money means sacrificing too much of the Vegas experience!

We check into The LINQ and take you along for a full day and night of food, drinks, entertainment, and everything this central Las Vegas resort has to offer.

We kick off our stay with lunch at Guy Fieri's Vegas Kitchen & Bar.

Then we take you on a tour inside our King Junior Suite at The LINQ Las Vegas for a full room tour. We'll show you exactly what you get for your money and whether the room delivers when you're trying to keep your Vegas hotel costs down.

Things get a little more interesting when we visit I Love Sugar and check out the Candy Martini Bar, where we try some of their cocktails. Because apparently Vegas needed to make candy even more dangerous!

After a few drinks, we take a drunken walk through the LINQ Promenade, checking out the atmosphere, restaurants, bars, shops, and entertainment.

We also take a look at 99 Prince Bar and Diner Ross Steakhouse, giving you a throwback to the 70's.

No visit to The LINQ would be complete without a ride on the High Roller Observation Wheel. So we head up for the views and see what the experience is really like.

And of course, we couldn't spend 24 hours in this part of Vegas without stopping at O'Sheas for a Frozen Bailey's!

And finally, after spending time at The LINQ, we give you our honest thoughts and impressions.

Is The LINQ Las Vegas actually a smart way to save money?

Is it worth going no-frills in Las Vegas and putting the money you save toward food, drinks, attractions, and experiences? Or does a cheaper hotel ultimately mean you're giving up too much?

If you're planning a Las Vegas vacation, comparing Las Vegas hotels, looking for a cheap place to stay on the Las Vegas Strip, or wondering whether The LINQ Las Vegas is worth staying at, this video is for you!

Watch until the end to find out whether we think The LINQ is a Vegas bargain, or whether we'd spend the extra money on something better.
