I love all of the Queen of Afternoon Tea reviews and I love the idea of a peaceful, beautiful, solo tea date date at a fancy hotel. With both in mind, I treated myself to the experience at the Waldorf Hotel Las Vegas. I didn’t have expectations or a clear idea of what to expect, but I was somewhat underwhelmed. It wasn’t a bad experience, I just don’t feel like the service, ambiance and food offerings justified the somewhat expensive brunch or lunch cost. The scones and jam were probably my favorite part, but were no more refined or delicious than what I’d find at a coffe stand. I did not enjoy being served room temperature cream or lemon curd that had congealed, but everything tasted okay. Service felt both slow and hurried with one sweet server taking care of too many tables. I’m glad I did this once, but I probably wouldn’t be in a hurry to go back. It felt like a catered corporate dining experience and lacked charm or good vibes. Add this to your list of backup plans only if better options aren’t available. #vegas #lasvegas #vegasstarfish #vegastea #queenofafternoontea #waldorfastoria #afternoontea #vegasdining #vegasexperience #vegaslocal #wheretogoinvegas #whattodoinvegas #vegasfood #vegasfun
