A special thank you to @Vessi as a partner on these food adventures! This time we're in Toronto staying in the downtown area at the historic Omni King Edward Hotel @OmniKingEdwardHotel where great restaurants are just steps away. But today I'm gonna venture out a little bit out of the downtown core and visit Toronto's Las Vegas style buffet with live cooking stations and the glitz and glamour of the morning Vegas buffet.
This will be Vegas-style glamour, sizzling live wok stations, and plate after plate of food! Join me at Wok of Fame in Brampton, in the Greater Toronto Area, for an all-you-can-eat Chinese and Asian fusion buffet adventure.
From the chandeliers and glowing lanterns to chefs cooking right in front of you, this buffet makes quite a first impression. But does the food match the setting?
Come along as I explore the buffet stations, build my own stir-fry, and taste sushi, dim sum, crab legs, shrimp, grilled steak, skewers, and braised beef tendon. Then it’s time for cakes, crème brûlée, and a waffle-and-ice-cream creation—because somehow there’s always room for dessert!
I share my honest reactions throughout: the dishes I’d return for, a few that didn’t quite hit the mark, and whether this Toronto-area buffet delivers that Vegas-style experience.
