2023 was a year of change for Las Vegas. We experienced many new events, resort openings, brand new restaurants and attractions. What no one is talking about are the things that closed. Here are 8 things we’ll actually miss in 2024. The first are the original Bellagio trees. Cut down while we slept to make room for Formula One (F1) Grandstands, the replacements are scrawny and sad. Two, OPM at Cosmopolitan was quirky and weird but fun. Sweets Raku was THE spots for desserts. Akhob was the secret hidden ganzfeld light installation everyone wanted to see. Transfix ran out of money, the Insanity Thrill ride at Strat broke, Gyu+ took their delicious Japanese sandos and wandered into the night and Cereal Killerz moved on to new projects. Which will you miss most? #vegas #lasvegas #vegasstarfish #nostalgia #vegasattractions #thingstodoinvegas #vegasexcitement #vegaslocal #jamesturrell #akhob #vegasart #transfix #cerealkillerz #bellagiotrees #sweetsraku #vegasnews
