Introducing Tananai | Vevo DSCVR Artists To Watch 2023

C'è sempre spazio per qualcuno che ha la capacità di animare una festa, e quando lo scorso anno Tananai è arrivato con "BABY GODDAMN", ha letteralmente travolto la pista. Sei mesi dopo, il cantante italiano ha colpito nel segno con i ritmi propulsivi e la carica di “MALEDUCAZIONE”, alzando il livello ancora di più. La consacrazione ufficiale dell'abile produttore arriva grazie al Festival di Sanremo, che ha permesso a Tananai e alla sua "SESSO OCCASIONALE” di essere conosciuti da milioni di persone, facendo, finalmente, accendere i riflettori sul ragazzo. Alberto Cotta Ramusino prende il suo nome d’arte dal soprannome con cui lo chiamava il nonno, un diminutivo dialettale che significa “piccola peste”. Tananai, di questi tempi, non sta infastidendo nessuno, tranne i suoi fan insaziabili che chiedono sempre più musica. All'inizio di quest’anno, l’artista milanese ha registrato il tutto esaurito durante un tour nei club italiani. Nel frattempo, brani come "La Dolce Vita" e "Pasta" hanno accresciuto la sua reputazione di interprete imperdibile, mantenendo la promessa del suo primo EP, "Piccoli Boati". Con questi ultimi pezzi, Tananai sembra aver voltato pagina dall'aspetto introspettivo che ha segnato i suoi primi lavori, ma, in realtà, si definisce ancora un tipo sensibile. Infatti, "ABISSALE" , il suo ultimo singolo, risveglia il lato romantico della sua arte ed è ben lontano dall'atmosfera da "canzone estiva" della collaborazione con Fedez e Mara Sattei. Le sue interpretazioni di "ABISSALE" e "PICCOLA GABBER" mostrano entrambi gli aspetti della sua abilità artistica e se vi state chiedendo che direzione stia prendendo, la nostra unica certezza è che sta puntando sempre più in alto!

There’s always room for someone who can get the party started. When Tananai’s “BABY GODDAMN” arrived last year, it put lots of bodies in motion. The Italian singer's profile made a huge leap, and leveled-up even further when “MALEDUCAZIONE” hit six months later with its propulsive beats and charged-up vocals. The skilled producer found the golden ticket to industry acknowledgment thanks to Sanremo Music Festival (a key television song contest). By its end, "SESSO OCCASIONALE" and Tananai were known by millions - a guy whose talent had been simmering for a year or so finally became ignited. Alberto Cotta Ramusino picked up his nickname from his grandfather; it translates to "little pest." But Tananai isn't bothering anyone these days, except insatiable fans who want more music. Earlier this year the Milan native sold out a tour of Italian clubs. All the while, tracks such as "La Dolce Vita," and "Pasta" have enhanced his reputation as a don't-miss performer, fulfilling on the promise of his early EP, 'Piccoli Boati." Tananai seems to have shed some of the introspective approach that marked his early work, but he tells interviewers that he's still a "sensitive" dude. Indeed, "ABISSALE" harks back to the romantic side of things - a far cry from the "summer song" vibe of his collaboration with Fedez and Mara Sattei. Makes sense. He’s also told interviewers that he doesn’t like to stay in his comfort zone for too long. His performances of “ABISSALE” and “PICCOLA GABBER” show both aspects of his artistry. Watch out: you just don’t know which way he’s going… besides up.
