This panel discussion at the 8th Global Conference on Criminal Finances and Cryptocurrencies examined how crypto assets are being used for organised crimes including human trafficking, migrant smuggling and drug trafficking.

The panel discussed:

1. What are some of the significant challenges and opportunities of investigating/combatting the use of cryptocurrencies for organised crimes including human trafficking, migrant smuggling and drug trafficking?

2. Given the threat landscape for combatting these crimes – are we already behind the curve? How do we get ahead of the curve? What are the different approaches globally?
