On Tuesday, October 22nd, Dillard University’s Center for Racial Justice teamed up with the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office to launch the Accountability of Hate Crimes Initiative. The panel discussion, held at PSB 115, Georges Auditorium, took place from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and brought together legal professionals, community leaders, and experts to address the impact of hate crimes.
The event highlighted the importance of education, advocacy, and legal accountability in combating hate crimes in our community. Attendees had the opportunity to hear about the crucial steps being taken to ensure justice and promote community healing.
